about michelle.

I have been an information graphics specialist for over 20 years. My ability to work with technical specialists to visually communicate complex information clearly and effectively is an advantage for the client, key stakeholders and the community. I am an expert at finding fresh ways to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

I have extensive experience in major infrastructure projects, especially within the transports space; creating graphics, illustrations, technical branded mapping and complex diagrams for environmental assessment documentation, strategic and final business case documents, community and stakeholder engagements, newsletters, information and promotional material across the full spectrum of infrastructure lifecycle stages.

My ability to transform pages of text into concise visual graphics within condensed deadlines is a key differentiator in the quality and standard of the final output. This has led to project work in multi-disciplinary teams both as a consultant and while working for, or seconded into, Government organisations.

I was also responsible for launching the graphics department at Australian Associated Press. During my four years there, I worked with journalists across the organisation to create sport, news and finance graphics within tight deadlines. Prior to this, I worked at The Guardian newspaper and Reuters News Service in London creating print and web-based information graphics.
